Senior DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

PactFi is building a secure, end‑to‑end platform for private credit transactions. As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer you will partner with the Lead DevSecOps Engineer to raise the security, reliability, and operational maturity of our AWS‑based platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and Pulumi‑Python.
• Enhance cloud networking, IAM, secrets management, environment isolation, and secure configuration.
• Standardize provisioning, access control, auditability, and change‑management processes.
• Develop and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for application, infrastructure, and platform deployments.
• Support container‑based build and deployment workflows, including rolling updates and rollback strategies.
• Embed security controls, support SOC 2 Type 2 readiness, and manage vulnerability remediation.
• Provide 24/7 on‑call support, business continuity, and disaster‑recovery operations.

Required profile

• Hands‑on senior‑level experience in cloud engineering, DevSecOps, and production operations.
• Strong collaborative mindset, able to own technical workstreams and work closely with engineering teams.
• Practical experience with security compliance frameworks, especially SOC 2.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement long‑term fixes.
