Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Veriforce is looking for a senior DevOps engineer to lead the design, delivery, and operation of developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure‑as‑code. You will be a key member of a fast‑growing SaaS team, ensuring reliable, secure, and performant services for tens of thousands of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, running stand‑ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Provide technical thought leadership in partnership with Architecture, SecOps, Data Engineering, and Development.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate tooling and infrastructure needs into actionable stories.
• Design, implement, and maintain continuous delivery systems and promote best practices for resiliency and operability.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code for development and production, focusing on Kubernetes and Kafka.
• Build observability and monitoring solutions, ensuring system health and meeting performance SLAs.

Required profile

• 7+ years of DevOps experience in a SaaS environment.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, container orchestration, and messaging platforms.
• Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Security‑mindset across all layers of the stack.
• Professional experience with SaaS application development and web technologies.
