Senior Demand Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Demand Planner to join our Chemicals Intermediates team in Houston, Texas. The role focuses on overseeing demand forecasts for finished goods across North America and driving continuous improvement of planning processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve demand forecasts, ensuring transparency to supply planning (OMP) for North America.
• Lead demand‑supply chain projects that enhance forecasting accuracy and support the S&OP process.
• Act as the process and application expert for SAP APO DP, covering 3rd Party, Transfer, and Export demand types.
• Provide second‑level technical and business support for all regions and resolve forecast issues.
• Perform daily data maintenance, analysis, and ensure interface integrity between forecasting and ERP/OMP systems.
• Analyze historical sales trends, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Controlling, and Supply Planning to gather demand information and address forecast‑related concerns.
• Support reporting and S&OP preparation, designing and maintaining required reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Significant experience in demand planning within a manufacturing or chemicals environment.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and drive process improvements.
