Senior Coordinator, Operational Buying

About the role

The Senior Coordinator Operational Buying supports Nestlé’s Little Chute manufacturing facility by managing end‑to‑end purchasing for indirect materials and services. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective procurement while maintaining compliance with Nestlé policies and supporting uninterrupted factory operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate purchase requisitions for completeness and policy compliance.
• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for indirect materials and services.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor open and overdue purchase orders, escalating risks to operations as needed.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies, blocked invoices, and PO errors to keep financial records clean.
• Maintain purchasing data integrity in SAP and Ariba systems and track procurement KPIs.
• Identify cost‑control opportunities and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business or related field (preferred).
• Experience in manufacturing, procurement or maintenance environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a professional, ethical attitude.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset for identifying cost and process improvements.
