Senior Contracts Manager

About the role

Fastly is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented and organized Senior Contracts Manager to scale its Contracts Management function. The role drives negotiation, interpretation and contract lifecycle management of complex revenue and procurement transactions, and optimizes lead-to-cash and other commercial contracting workflows within the Commercial Legal team. It is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Contracts Management, with room to grow.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple fast-paced, high-stakes commercial deal cycles as the primary contracts management negotiator, revising and drafting negotiated legal agreements on Fastly forms with limited supervision.
• Project manage transactions and coordinate across internal stakeholders and counterparties, resolving cross-functional contract issues with minimal supervision.
• Support a demanding sales organization during high-volume month-end and quarter-end close cycles.
• Use AI and other legal technology to streamline contract review, redlining and negotiation, and develop AI-enabled contract management workflows.
• Handle risk-based assessments and escalations with recommendations and mitigations, aligned with team risk and policy frameworks.
• Maintain accurate, complete and compliant contract data, Salesforce records and deal support approvals, and contribute to continuous improvement of Contracts team processes.
• Perform detailed contract administration and project manage long-term ad hoc initiatives, growing in product knowledge, pricing and packaging, project management and negotiation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of complex commercial contract management, administration and negotiation in SaaS, AI or other fast-paced technology environments.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with GTM organizations, discretion with confidential information, and strong oral and written communication.
• Preferred: experience with enterprise contract management tool rollouts, a post-graduate degree in Contracts Management, or background in public company deal flows across global jurisdictions.

Required skills

• Salesforce and similar CRM platforms.
• Enterprise contract lifecycle management tools such as Ironclad and DocuSign CLM.
• AI-assisted negotiation tools such as Claude or Gemini.
