Senior Contracts Manager – International

About the role

Saronic Technologies is pioneering autonomous maritime platforms. As Senior Contracts Manager – International, you will own the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle for both Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) of autonomous surface vessels and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead contract structuring, negotiation, award, modification, performance monitoring and close‑out for international programs.
• Coordinate with U.S. Government agencies (DSCA, State Department) on FMS requests, Letters of Request, and Letters of Offer and Acceptance.
• Negotiate DCS agreements with foreign defense ministries, handling procurement law, payment terms, warranties, offsets and in‑country support.
• Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure adherence to ITAR, EAR, export licensing, TAAs and end‑use restrictions.
• Provide strategic risk‑mitigation advice, aligning contract terms with corporate strategy and financial goals.
• Serve as primary contracting liaison with foreign customers, U.S. contracting officers and local partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 8‑10 years of experience managing complex international contracts, preferably in defense or maritime sectors.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. export control regulations (ITAR, EAR) and FMS processes.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, legal, program and compliance teams.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
