Senior Consultant – Data & Analytics (Business Consulting)

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Data & Analytics practice within Business Consulting. You will help clients become data‑driven by designing and delivering analytical solutions that address complex business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client discussions to capture business problems and translate them into analytical use cases.
• Gather high‑level requirements, create functional specifications, and produce artefacts such as traceability matrices, workflow diagrams, and data dictionaries.
• Extract, clean, and structure data from databases, APIs, spreadsheets, and cloud platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake).
• Perform exploratory and statistical analysis, develop KPIs, and build dashboards or visual reports.
• Write SQL queries and Python scripts for data wrangling and analysis.
• Design data‑governance models and transformation road‑maps.
• Present insights and recommendations to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff, manage project finances, and support sales pursuits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, economics, mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in management consulting.
• Ability to travel 4‑5 days per week to client sites across the United States.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without employer‑based visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Python for data analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
