About the role

The University of Arkansas seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of research facility projects. This senior‑level position oversees all phases of construction, ensuring projects meet quality, safety, budget, and schedule requirements while supporting the university’s research mission.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all construction activities for research facilities, from concept through close‑out.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with university policies, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to align project goals.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues, and provide regular status reports to senior leadership.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor performance, and quality control processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing large‑scale construction projects, preferably in academic or research environments.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex budgets.
