Senior Construction Inspector

About the role

Artheon is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Inspector to join our team in Camden, NJ. The role involves inspecting public projects across several counties to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of public projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, and other infrastructure, ensuring compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of inspection findings, including photographs, reports, and documentation, and prepare inspection reports for clients and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify and address construction and design issues promptly, ensuring quality and safety.
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols, taking appropriate actions for non‑compliance.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years experience inspecting public infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and utilities.
• NICET Level III certification in a related field is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and preparing detailed reports.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
