Senior Community Manager – Avana Star Lake

About the role

Greystar is seeking an experienced Senior Community Manager for the Avana Star Lake garden‑style community in Federal Way, WA. You will oversee day‑to‑day operations of a 750‑unit property, lead staff, and ensure financial and operational goals are met while delivering exceptional resident service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, control expenditures, and achieve budgeted financial targets for the property.
• Oversee lease enforcement, approve resident applications, discounts, renewals, and handle rent collection.
• Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate property staff to meet performance standards.
• Maintain owner relationships by providing performance updates, reports, and responding to requests.
• Conduct regular property inspections, ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and other regulations, and address resident concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or related field.
• 4‑6 years of property management experience, with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong financial acumen – budgeting, fiscal reporting, and expense control.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience using Yardi/OneSite property management software.
