Senior Clinical Therapist - Student Wellness Program

About the role

The Senior Clinical Therapist will join the Student Wellness Program to provide comprehensive psychiatric and therapeutic services to university students. This full‑time position supports the mental‑health needs of a diverse student population within a collaborative academic health environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for students.
• Perform psychiatric assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency mental‑health support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, counselors, and academic staff.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with university and regulatory standards.
• Participate in outreach, education, and preventive mental‑health initiatives on campus.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted license as a Clinical Therapist or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in psychiatric or mental‑health settings, preferably with young adult or student populations.
• Demonstrated ability to work in an academic or university environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, and cultural competence.
