Senior Buyer – Women’s Apparel

About the role

Calvin Klein is seeking a Senior Buyer for its women’s category to lead merchandise strategy across all retail channels. You will partner with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to shape assortments, pricing, and promotional plans that drive sales, margin, and inventory performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales, gross‑margin and inventory plans for the women’s category.
• Collaborate with VP, planning, design, visual merchandising and allocation teams to create balanced assortments aligned with brand vision.
• Analyze market and competitive data to identify opportunities, adjust reorders and cancellations, and optimize product mix.
• Lead senior management meetings, present business reviews, and validate strategic decisions with data.
• Partner with visual merchandising to drive in‑store presentation and sales performance.
• Train, mentor and develop direct reports while fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of retail buying experience, preferably full‑price and e‑commerce.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly organized, adaptable to change, and capable of managing both high‑level strategy and detailed execution.
