Senior Business Analyst, Inves Tech

About the role

The Senior Business Analyst will work across Front Office and Technology teams to solve business problems and deliver technology solutions that support Invesco's strategic investment initiatives. You will collaborate with engineering, analysts, and investment professionals to design, build, and implement high‑quality systems.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with Front Office partners to gather detailed requirements for new and enhanced solutions.
• Partner with Capital Markets, Investment Compliance, Investment Services and external vendors to deliver projects.
• Play a role in the development roadmap, continuously improving tool capabilities.
• Manage project initiatives, provide status updates, and handle risks and issues.
• Participate in Agile squad ceremonies and support engineering run/support teams as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in asset management or investment banking.
• Strong understanding of equity, fixed income and derivative instruments.
• Experience with Order Management Systems, preferably Charles River.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to challenge legacy processes and propose optimal solutions.

Required skills

• SQL for database interrogation.
• Oracle PL/SQL.
• Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of Order Management Systems (e.g., Charles River).
