Senior Business Analyst – Intelligent Automation

About the role

The Senior Business Analyst will join Invesco’s Intelligent Automation team in Houston, helping to define and deliver automation solutions across the firm. You will work closely with business owners, process experts and technology partners to capture current‑state processes, identify improvement opportunities and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements for intelligent automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to define automation opportunities and future‑state processes.
• Support the full requirements lifecycle, including validation, prioritisation, traceability and change management.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and requirement‑gathering sessions with business and technology partners.
• Partner with solution architects, developers and QA to ensure requirements are accurately reflected in solution designs.
• Produce process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules and functional documentation.
• Assist in building business cases, impact assessments and cost‑benefit analyses for project prioritisation.
• Support testing activities by defining test scenarios and validating delivered automation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical, communication and process‑improvement capabilities.
• Working knowledge of intelligent automation concepts and related technologies.
• Experience partnering with both business and technical stakeholders to drive solutions.
• Ability to manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
