Senior Analyzer Engineer – Process Analytics

About the role

BASF is seeking a Senior Analyzer Engineer to join the NAF team in Freeport, Texas. The role focuses on delivering reliable process analytical solutions that support manufacturing quality and profitability while advancing sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead process analyzer projects from concept through implementation.
• Identify, evaluate, and introduce new process analytical technologies.
• Develop and execute work processes that improve reliability, accuracy, and maintenance costs of analytical assets.
• Create long‑term improvement strategies and annual roadmaps for analytical equipment.
• Apply industry best practices to resolve placement and reliability issues.
• Provide manufacturing partners with performance indicators and support for optimal product quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations on design reviews, repairs, and optimization recommendations.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with several years of experience in chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record of leading technical projects and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
