Senior Analyst, Order to Cash (Virtual)

About the role

The Corporate Controllership team at The Home Depot supports business growth, and the Senior Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Order to Cash (OTC) tower. The role partners with internal teams and external business partners to resolve discrepancies and solve problems, working on departmental and strategic projects while helping more junior analysts. It is a virtual position based in Georgia.

Key responsibilities

• Execute operational tasks for the OTC tower, including month-end and year-end processes, and support work with internal and external customers
• Interpret data in reports and ledgers and provide analysis to improve efficiency
• Resolve job-related issues and support junior analysts
• Monitor and work toward meeting KPIs and SLAs, and assist the FBS manager with analysis
• Collaborate with project teams and business partners, prioritizing assignments and ensuring quality and accuracy
• Seek knowledge of finance trends such as analytics, intelligent automation, robotics, and contribute to continuous improvement of financial shared services

Required profile

• Aged 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is strongly preferred
• 2 years of relevant experience preferred, 3-5 years preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to communicate effectively with customers

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other accounting software
• Understanding of accounting and finance principles, GAAP and auditing standards
• Experience with data analytics and data visualization
• Experience with RPA, machine learning, artificial intelligence and blockchain is highly desired
