Senior Acquisition Specialist (TS/SCI+Poly)

About the role

Connexus Hub, a professional services firm serving government agencies and Fortune 500 customers, is seeking a Senior Acquisition Specialist with TS/SCI+Poly clearance. The role provides acquisition support, analysis, and procurement assistance for complex mission needs.

Key responsibilities

• Advise requirement owners on strategic acquisition approaches and develop Statements of Work, Objectives, or Performance Work Statements.
• Conduct market research and generate market surveys to assess industry resources.
• Prepare Independent Government Cost Estimates and related acquisition documentation such as checklists, RFIs, contracts, and quality assurance plans.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, industry days, and maintain continuous communication with requirement owners.
• Streamline processes to reduce lead times and ensure timely approvals and contract closeouts.

Required profile

• 9‑12 years of federal acquisition and contracting experience, with relevant work within the last two years.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, government, acquisitions or a related field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance (polygraph optional, can be obtained later).
• In‑depth knowledge of FAR, DFARs, acquisition lifecycle, and contract administration.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
