Senior Accounting Manager, Digital Assets

About the role

Uphold is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead the revenue close process for its digital assets business. The role focuses on ensuring accurate financial reporting under US GAAP while driving automation and data integrity across the revenue pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close for digital assets, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and ASC 350‑60.
• Reconcile in‑house digital assets ledger activity to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies with finance and data teams.
• Manage and mentor a fast‑paced accounting team, set performance objectives, and conduct reviews.
• Partner with FP&A on revenue reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting, providing commentary on accounting‑to‑actuals.
• Liaise with external auditors, preparing audit schedules and supporting audit engagements.
• Lead special projects, ad‑hoc reporting, and analysis requests as assigned.

Required profile

• 6+ years of accounting experience in technology or financial services.
• BA/BS in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to improve processes and think creatively.
