Senior Accountant – Remote (US)

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing healthcare technology company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its expanding Accounting & Finance team. This fully remote position works directly with the CFO, offering high visibility, strong career growth, and the chance to shape scalable accounting processes in a high‑growth environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Maintain balance‑sheet reconciliations and keep audit‑ready records.
• Conduct technical accounting research and apply relevant guidance.
• Assist external auditors and coordinate audit activities.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
• Identify workflow efficiencies, strengthen internal controls, and drive accounting system enhancements.
• Participate in special finance projects as the company scales.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with month‑end close and audit support.
• Technical accounting aptitude and a process‑improvement mindset.
• Self‑starter with strong work ethic and desire for career growth.
• Preferred: public accounting background or experience in healthcare technology, SaaS, or other high‑growth industries.
