About the role

The State of Georgia seeks a Senior Accountant to join the Administrative Services Division at Gwinnett Technical College. This full‑time, exempt position works on‑site at the Lawrenceville campus, supporting fiscal and administrative functions while contributing to the college’s mission.

Key responsibilities

  • Record asset additions, deletions, and adjustments with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain the record management system and track assets throughout the college.
  • Assist with annual physical inventory and complete asset reconciliations.
  • Facilitate general accounting functions and maintain the Perkins Asset Listing.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
  • At least three years of accounting experience.
  • Experience in state governmental accounting (preferred).
  • Familiarity with GA@WORK and BANNER database software (preferred).
