Senior Accountant

About the role

Exactera is scaling its finance function and seeks a Senior Accountant with strong US GAAP knowledge and a process‑builder mindset. The role will own corporate accounting activities across P&L, cost of revenue, operating expenses, procure‑to‑pay, payroll, intercompany accounting and related balance‑sheet accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Own and scale the procure‑to‑pay lifecycle, redesign workflows in Ramp, manage vendor onboarding, tax documentation, accruals and bank reconciliations.
• Manage payroll accounting, maintain earning codes, allocations and ensure payroll costs are recognized and reconciled per US GAAP.
• Oversee intercompany accounting, transfer‑pricing policies, invoicing, balance reconciliation and foreign‑exchange adjustments.
• Lead key close activities including accruals, prepaid amortization, fixed assets, lease accounting and multi‑currency remeasurement.
• Execute accounting in the new ERP Rillet, handling data mapping, testing, reconciliation and post‑launch optimization.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and experience with corporate accounting processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procure‑to‑pay system Ramp.
• Experience using ERP Rillet (or NetSuite) for accounting execution.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT for research and documentation.
