Senior Accountant – Hospitality Management

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a fast‑growing hospitality management organization that oversees multiple hotel properties in the Dallas‑Fort Worth area. The role is hands‑on, highly visible, and focused on cleaning up reconciliations, tightening financials, and enhancing accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations for several hotel entities, including initial clean‑up work.
• Drive the month‑end close process in a high‑volume environment.
• Prepare and post journal entries such as accruals, re‑classifications and adjustments.
• Conduct detailed P&L reviews, variance analysis and investigate discrepancies.
• Support reporting for leadership and property‑level stakeholders.
• Assist with audit requests and maintain proper documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or hotel operations.
• Strong expertise in balance‑sheet reconciliations, month‑end close, and financial statement analysis.
• Advanced Excel capabilities, including macros, VBA, complex formulas and large data manipulation.
• Experience with multiple ERP systems; familiarity with Sage Intacct is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
