About the role
The Senior Account Manager will lead sales and strategic account planning for Motorola Solutions' public‑safety portfolio across Central Louisiana. You will act as a trusted advisor to city, county and state agencies, driving adoption of communications technology, software and services that support mission‑critical operations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans for target accounts and the geographic territory.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to assess customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Influence technology platform decisions and build long‑term loyalty to Motorola Solutions.
- Identify and pursue large‑scale project opportunities across the full product portfolio.
- Engage channel partners where appropriate to expand market reach.
- Establish strong relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers in public‑safety agencies.
- Collaborate with Motorola Solutions executive sponsors to position strategic, long‑term opportunities.
- Develop procurement vehicles to leverage solutions across target accounts.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of sales/public‑safety experience, or 8+ years of sales experience.
- Prior experience with government or public‑safety customers is a plus.
- Strong customer‑focused relationship development and management abilities.
- Self‑starter attitude with proven ability to hunt and create new sales opportunities.
