About the role

The Senior Account Manager will lead sales and strategic account planning for Motorola Solutions' public‑safety portfolio across Central Louisiana. You will act as a trusted advisor to city, county and state agencies, driving adoption of communications technology, software and services that support mission‑critical operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans for target accounts and the geographic territory.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to assess customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Influence technology platform decisions and build long‑term loyalty to Motorola Solutions.
  • Identify and pursue large‑scale project opportunities across the full product portfolio.
  • Engage channel partners where appropriate to expand market reach.
  • Establish strong relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers in public‑safety agencies.
  • Collaborate with Motorola Solutions executive sponsors to position strategic, long‑term opportunities.
  • Develop procurement vehicles to leverage solutions across target accounts.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of sales/public‑safety experience, or 8+ years of sales experience.
  • Prior experience with government or public‑safety customers is a plus.
  • Strong customer‑focused relationship development and management abilities.
  • Self‑starter attitude with proven ability to hunt and create new sales opportunities.
