Senior Account Director - Social Media & Digital

About the role

Senior Account Director will lead key US digital and social accounts for luxury hospitality, property and placemaking brands. The role combines strategic leadership, client relationship management and commercial ownership within PURPLE’s Luxury Fashion Marketing division.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute social and digital strategies, creative briefs and channel plans aligned with client objectives.
• Act as senior point of contact, leading meetings, workshops and strategic presentations.
• Oversee social content calendars, campaigns, community management and performance reporting.
• Lead talent and creator partnerships, managing research, outreach, negotiations and long‑term associations.
• Manage project delivery, budgets, resourcing and profitability, ensuring work is on time and within scope.
• Develop and mentor multidisciplinary account teams and support new‑business pitching.

Required profile

• 6+ years of agency or in‑house experience in digital, social or brand teams.
• Proven track record leading high‑profile luxury hospitality, property or lifestyle accounts.
• Deep understanding of social strategy, content production, paid media and performance measurement.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders, budgets and account growth.
• Strong knowledge of the US social, talent and cultural landscape.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with demonstrated team‑leadership ability.
