About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a school in Boston, Lincolnshire. This full‑time, temporary‑to‑permanent position starts in September and focuses on one‑to‑one support for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Key responsibilities
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students.
- Provide consistent, individualized support to pupils.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment.
- De‑escalate challenging behaviour by building trusting relationships.
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement personalised plans.
Required profile
- Recent, relevant experience working with children and young people, especially those with SEND/SEMH.
- High level of resilience and energy.
- Passion for education and safeguarding.
