Security Supervisor Lieutenant – Night Shift (Full Time)

About the role

This position is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of Security Operations on the night shift. It provides instruction, guidance and on‑the‑job training to Security Officers and Sergeants, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The role also supports emergency response and prepares schedules for the security team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities and supervise Security Officers and Sergeants on the assigned night shift.
• Evaluate serious security incidents, take appropriate action, and notify the Security Captain.
• Conduct quarterly security audits and ensure timely completion of security reports.
• Support leadership during emergency response drills and maintain required certifications.
• Oversee personnel scheduling to avoid unauthorized overtime and adapt interactions to patient privacy needs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of security, law‑enforcement, or military experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a security‑related field.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI), and firearms training.

Required skills

• Proficient computer skills for data entry and information retrieval.
• Experience with Windows‑style applications and keyboard operation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Training in Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) and firearms handling.
