Security Specialist

About the role

The Global Information Security (GIS) team at The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Security Specialist to support the Disney Entertainment & ESPN (DE&E) segment. This role focuses on independent audit support, control health checks, and remediation testing to protect Disney’s information systems and platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent audit support for SOX 404 ITGCs, PII, PCI, and ISPS assessments.
• Perform control health checks and remediation testing to address findings from internal or external audits.
• Participate in audit walkthrough meetings to validate the design of automated controls.
• Conduct impact analysis and risk assessments on identified deficiencies.
• Investigate control findings and document results in internal SOCD/SAD records.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Experience with audit processes and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and impact analysis.
• Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly.
