Security Shift Supervisor - Unarmed

About the role

Allied Universal Services is looking for a Professional Security Shift Supervisor in Wellington, Florida. The supervisor coordinates the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift at an assigned customer and acts as a liaison between the site supervisor, the Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and the professional security officers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Required profile

• At least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military experience and/or a degree in criminal justice.
• Guard card required.
• Valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean record (no major violations in the last 36 months, no more than one accident in the last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in the last 24 months), adequate insurance per company policy and ability to operate the required vehicle safely.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; a drivers' record check may also be required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.

• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of personnel and the public.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Ability to write neat, legible written reports and logs.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
