About the role

Infosys is seeking a Security Operations Center Engineer to join its Insurance unit in Houston, Texas. The role focuses on protecting client environments through SOC operations, vulnerability management and remediation governance, leveraging AI‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in requirements elicitation and document business requirements for security solutions.
• Facilitate design discussions for security applications and capture design decisions.
• Develop, code, and integrate new features while ensuring system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain code repositories, and implement test strategies.
• Provide user training, documentation, and support for newly deployed security tools.
• Resolve production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and recommend preventive measures.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements to deployment.
• Experience in handling production issues and driving continuous improvement.
