Security Officer – Public Safety (Day Shift)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Security Officer to join its Police Department on a day shift. This position supports campus safety and public safety initiatives for the university community.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security duties as part of the University Police Department.
• Maintain a visible presence on campus to deter and respond to incidents.
• Assist with emergency response and follow established protocols.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System (including student employees or graduate assistants) who can access Workday via MyApps.Microsoft.com.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to complete the application process through Workday’s “Find Jobs” portal.
