Security Officer

About the role

The Maverick Golf and Ranch Club is seeking a professional Security Officer to join its dedicated security team. In this role you will protect members, guests, and employees while delivering a concierge‑style service in a high‑end club environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe residential and working environment by identifying, treating, and reducing workplace risks.
• Provide seamless entry for all authorized individuals and prevent unauthorized access to the property and its facilities.
• Deliver medical response capabilities for members, guests, and employees on club property or during club‑facilitated activities.
• Provide fire response capabilities for all structures within the community.
• Offer emergency‑management advice during natural‑disaster events.
• Adhere to company service and operating standards and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Enforce health and safety policies for members, guests, and employees.
• Maintain a personal “concierge” security approach for all on‑site individuals.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years experience in military, law enforcement, or private security equivalents.
• Honorable discharge or separation (provide DD‑214 or F‑5 documentation).
• Experience and training with relevant firearms and defensive tactics.
• Valid driver’s license and clear criminal background.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in high‑duress situations.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied schedules.
