Seasonal Guest Experience Associate

About the role

Join Zoo New England as a Seasonal Guest Experience Associate and help create memorable visits for families and guests at Franklin Park Zoo. You will work in a lively, outdoor environment, handling admissions, memberships, and amusement‑ride operations while delivering friendly, professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm smile and provide a positive first impression.
• Process admissions, memberships, and other transactions accurately using Zoo’s cash‑handling policies.
• Promote and sell Zoo memberships, explaining benefits to visitors.
• Operate amusement rides safely in compliance with Massachusetts state laws.
• Monitor attendance, revenue, and ride performance using POS systems.
• Answer guest questions about exhibits, programs, and zoo operations.
• Assist with crowd control, clean work areas, and perform light maintenance such as shoveling or snow removal.
• Support teammates across shifts and attend departmental meetings.

Required profile

• Friendly, reliable, and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings for special events.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Strong commitment to safety and guest satisfaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (Point‑of‑Sale) systems on computers and tablets.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math.
