School Partnerships Specialist – Field-Based Contractor

About the role

ClassDojo is seeking a field‑based School Partnerships Specialist to act as the on‑the‑ground champion in one of its priority markets. You will help schools strengthen family engagement and build positive school culture through direct conversations with principals, teacher presentations, and community outreach. The role is contract‑based, performance‑driven and includes a 5‑month engagement with a success‑fee compensation model.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and facilitate one‑on‑one meetings with school leaders via email, phone, referrals, and networking.
• Advise principals, assistant principals, and teachers on using ClassDojo to improve parent communication, community building, and classroom culture.
• Conduct teacher‑facing presentations to introduce ClassDojo and generate sign‑ups.
• Attend principal association meetings, regional education events, resource fairs, and back‑to‑school events.
• Track and report activity metrics such as visits booked, visits completed, teacher sign‑ups, and school leader engagements.
• Collaborate with ClassDojo’s mentor community to accelerate relationship‑building.
• Serve as a trusted local voice for ClassDojo.

Required profile

• Former school principal, assistant superintendent, instructional coach, or education leader with deep, active relationships in one of the priority markets (Atlanta, Los Angeles, Miami‑Dade, Louisville, New York City).
• Passion for family engagement and school culture, with firsthand experience of its impact.
• Extensive personal network among school leaders and district administrators in the target market.
• Strong presentation skills and experience leading professional development or schoolwide sessions.
• Self‑starter able to manage outreach, scheduling, and field logistics independently.
• Comfort with performance‑based compensation tied to measurable outcomes.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to school sites 3+ days per week.

What we offer

• On‑target earnings ranging from $24,000 to $30,000 for the 5‑month contract, based on market conditions and placement location.
• Operating costs such as travel, meals, and printed materials are covered.
