About the role

Charter Schools USA is seeking a dedicated School Nurse to join its educational team. The nurse will create a healthy environment for students and staff, addressing health needs and supporting the school’s instructional mission.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date student health records using electronic systems.
• Conduct health screenings, examinations, and immunization checks in compliance with state law and district policy.
• Monitor newly enrolled students to ensure required health documentation is complete.
• Provide first aid, emergency care assistance, and administer medication as authorized.
• Advise and counsel students, parents, and staff on health issues and make referrals to community resources.
• Collaborate with administrators on health‑related policies and safety recommendations.
• Communicate health information to parents, staff, and local health organizations.

Required profile

• Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple health tasks.
• Experience preparing comprehensive health reports.
