SAP Solution Architect - Order-to-Cash (OTC)

About the role

Ford is modernising its enterprise landscape with SAP S/4HANA and seeks an experienced SAP Solution Architect to lead the Order-to-Cash (OTC) domain. You will shape the architecture, ensure alignment with Clean Core principles and drive integration across a complex ecosystem of SAP and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Define the SAP OTC architecture and solution design strategy in line with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
• Design, evaluate and govern end‑to‑end solutions across SAP S/4HANA modules (SD, FI/CO, MM, EWM) and complementary platforms (BTP, Datasphere, SAC, Fiori).
• Enable seamless integration with third‑party solutions such as Adobe, Vertex, OpenText and Ford’s cloud ecosystem (GCP, Apigee, Cloud Run, BigQuery, IICS).
• Provide architectural guidance for API‑based and middleware integration, ensuring scalability, security and compliance.
• Collaborate with product and delivery teams to create functional specifications that minimise custom development and maximise standard SAP capabilities.
• Assess the impact of new business requirements on processes, data models and applications, co‑designing supportable solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing SAP S/4HANA solutions, particularly in the Order‑to‑Cash area.
• Strong understanding of Clean Core architecture and governance.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP modules SD, FI/CO, MM, EWM and SAP cloud services (BTP, Datasphere, SAC, Fiori).
• Experience integrating SAP with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and translate business needs into technical designs.
