Solution Architect – Cloud (GCP)

About the role

Wipro is seeking a Solution Architect (Level 1) to lead cloud adoption and modernization initiatives across large application portfolios. You will work closely with business and technology teams to assess legacy applications, define target‑state architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and guide the migration journey.

Key responsibilities

• Assess legacy applications and design target‑state GCP architectures.
• Lead cloud adoption initiatives for extensive application portfolios.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to evaluate workloads and modernization strategies.
• Provide architectural guidance, standards, and best practices.
• Establish cloud governance, reusable frameworks, and architectural guardrails.
• Support engineering teams during migration and modernization activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive scalable, secure, and cost‑effective cloud solutions.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in cloud migration, application modernization, and enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience designing cloud‑native, microservices‑based solutions.
• Strong background with Kubernetes, containerization, serverless computing, and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and API design.
