SAP IS-U & SAP S/4HANA Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP IS-U & SAP S/4HANA Consultant with deep functional expertise in the utility industry. The role focuses on the Meter‑to‑Cash lifecycle for electricity and gas utilities and involves working on SAP S/4HANA Utilities and Fiori solutions. This is a remote contract position based out of Poughkeepsie, NY.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer and business requirements and deliver functional solutions aligned with those needs.
• Resolve defects and issues within defined SLAs and support enhancements.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with offshore and cross‑functional teams, acting as a liaison between business and IT.
• Support testing, implementation, and troubleshooting activities for SAP IS-U and S/4HANA utilities.

Required profile

• Strong client‑facing and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven experience guiding business stakeholders on SAP best practices.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• SAP IS-U Billing & Invoicing with Meter‑to‑Cash expertise.
• Configuration of billing schemas, rate models, and complex tariff structures.
• SAP S/4HANA Utilities and Fiori knowledge.
• Debugging OData services and Web Services integrations.
• Print Workbench configuration, Smart Forms and Adobe Forms integration.
