SAP HANA Modeling & Performance Engineer

About the role

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a seasoned SAP HANA Modeling & Performance Engineer to design, build, and optimize native HANA data models and analytical objects for S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and standalone HANA environments. This remote, full‑time position offers the chance to translate complex business requirements into high‑performance models while serving as the go‑to expert for HANA performance issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, and SQLScript objects.
• Perform performance tuning and root‑cause analysis across the SAP landscape.
• Collaborate with functional teams to ensure models meet business and analytical needs.
• Document design decisions, best practices, and deployment procedures.
• Provide guidance and mentorship on HANA modeling standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP HANA modeling and performance optimization.
• Deep understanding of HANA internals, S/4HANA, and BW/4HANA platforms.
• Proven ability to translate complex requirements into efficient data models.
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to work remotely as a direct W2 employee of Bright Vision Technologies.
