SAP ABAP Developer – Modern SAP Development

About the role

We are looking for mid‑level and senior SAP ABAP developers to create modern, cloud‑ready solutions on SAP S/4HANA. The role involves translating business requirements into clean, scalable code while adhering to SAP Clean Core principles.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy ABAP solutions for S/4HANA implementation and modernization projects.
• Build cloud‑ready applications using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and, where appropriate, the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Create HANA CDS views, OData services (V2/V4), REST APIs and Fiori‑enabled UI components.
• Integrate SAP with external systems via APIs, web services, RFCs, IDocs, proxies and the SAP Integration Suite.
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, code optimisation and root‑cause analysis.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with functional consultants, architects and business stakeholders.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a federal Public Trust or other government security clearance.
• 3‑5 years of ABAP development for mid‑level candidates; 6+ years for senior‑level candidates.
• Recent hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA development and SAP BTP.
• Strong debugging, performance‑tuning and HANA optimisation skills.
