Sanitarian Line – Production Cleaner

About the role

Join Nestlé USA as a Sanitarian Line employee responsible for cleaning machines, tanks, and conveyors to ensure a safe and sanitary production environment. You will work the third shift, supporting the manufacturing of beloved food brands.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all LOTOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
• Adhere to the daily cleaning schedule and break‑down guidelines.
• Dispose of trash in designated dumpsters throughout the shift.
• Clean and sanitize equipment on the line, including machines, tanks, and conveyors.
• Spray equipment with water and use brushes, rags, cleaning preparations, and diluted acid as needed.
• Scrub parts using appropriate utensils and chemicals.
• Set up lines or prep areas according to the product run for the day.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, such as pot‑station or line‑cleaner tasks.

Required profile

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Capability to follow written or oral instructions.
• Awareness of warning lights, alarms, or hazardous conditions.
• Commitment to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety rules.
• Availability to work at least 40 hours per week on the assigned shift, with occasional overtime.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
