About the role

The Sample Preparation Technician prepares client samples for analysis, ensuring timely and accurate processing in a laboratory environment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out sample preparation procedures in strict accordance with documented SOPs or recognized standard reference methods, guaranteeing consistency and reliability.
• Report any deviations, non‑conforming events, or unsafe conditions to the Sample Preparation Supervisor promptly.
• Monitor equipment performance, maintain adequate inventory of supplies, and practice good housekeeping to support uninterrupted laboratory operations.
• Communicate general laboratory issues to the supervisor as needed and perform additional duties assigned by management.
• Lift and handle samples or equipment up to 50 lb safely as part of routine tasks.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work safely, wear required personal protective equipment, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb.
