Sales Support Representative

About the role

As a Sales Support Representative at ePlus Technology, you will drive new business while managing existing customer relationships, handling the administrative side of the sales cycle, and developing skills for future growth within the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately enter customer purchase orders into the system.
• Monitor order progress and ensure timely delivery that meets customer expectations.
• Manage open orders, coordinating with internal teams to expedite fulfillment.
• Oversee invoicing to guarantee accuracy and promptness.
• Proactively resolve issues with customers and suppliers.
• Learn vendor programs to source products at the best price for ePlus.
• Assist customers with returns, order inquiries, and information requests.
• Build strong relationships with sales colleagues, vendors, and internal departments.
• Support quoting activities and identify add‑on opportunities such as warranties, service agreements, accessories, or supplies.
• Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in projects and additional tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of sales or customer‑service experience.
• General knowledge of computers, networking, and the IT industry.
• Excellent phone and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Team‑player attitude with a positive outlook.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
