Sales Representative – Independent Retail (San Diego North)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative to manage independent retail accounts in the San Diego North area. The role focuses on growing the sales of beer, wine and spirits brands through proactive customer visits, merchandising and relationship building.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned retail accounts daily, following an efficient route plan.
• Identify sales opportunities, conduct surveys and ensure compliance with national account standards.
• Deliver professional sales presentations, introduce new products, and manage in‑store placements and promotions.
• Maintain product inventory, restock shelves where permitted, and monitor stock levels.
• Provide brand education and training to store staff.
• Process credits, returns and collect payments in accordance with legal guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Field Sales Manager on new account openings and order development.
• Track performance against distribution, volume and activity targets set by management.

Required profile

• Current associate eligible to apply through the internal Career Portal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for customer visits.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for the beer, wine and spirits industry and a team‑focused attitude.
