About the role
Firefly is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead its West region sales efforts from Los Angeles. The role focuses on building and managing strategic partnerships with major entertainment studios, streaming platforms, agency holding companies, and premium advertisers.
Key responsibilities
- Own and expand a portfolio of high‑value accounts across entertainment studios, streaming services, agencies and direct advertisers in the West region.
- Serve as the senior relationship executive, navigating complex stakeholder structures within media, brand and theatrical marketing teams.
- Develop and execute account‑level growth strategies that align Firefly’s location‑based, GPS‑triggered advertising platform with entertainment marketing needs.
- Identify and close new revenue opportunities, driving net‑new business with studios, networks, streamers and premium brands.
- Lead executive‑level conversations and C‑suite presentations with a consultative approach.
Required profile
- Proven senior‑level sales leadership experience in the media, advertising or entertainment sectors.
- Deep, established relationships with decision‑makers at major studios, agency holding companies and premium West Coast advertisers.
- Demonstrated ability to close enterprise‑level deals and manage long‑term strategic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of entertainment marketing cycles, tentpole campaigns and streaming launches.
