About the role
This full‑time Sales Development Representative will rotate across multiple territories on the Central Coast, focusing on expanding the sales of supplier brands to trade accounts. The role blends field sales, merchandising support, and account management to drive brand visibility and revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Visit assigned accounts daily, creating efficient routing patterns.
- Deliver professional sales presentations, promoting displays, new products, cold‑box, shelf, back‑bar placements, drink and wine lists, and promotions.
- Maintain product inventory levels and restock shelves where legally permitted.
- Use point‑of‑sale materials to maximize brand visibility.
- Collect payments and process checks or remittances where allowed.
- Conduct educational training seminars for account staff on brand portfolios.
- Handle customer issues, complaints, and special delivery circumstances, escalating as needed.
- Analyze pricing and product programming data monthly to plan sales and merchandising strategies.
- Ensure compliance with national account surveys and maintain accurate purchase histories.
- Meet distribution, volume, and activity targets set by management.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience.
- Results‑oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel within assigned territories and manage multiple accounts.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and basic presentation software.
