Safety, Health & Environmental Manager

About the role

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Safety, Health & Environmental (SH&E) Manager to lead SH&E initiatives at a high‑volume packaging and warehouse facility. The role is part of the Site Leadership Team and focuses on protecting employees and advancing environmental sustainability through proactive risk management and a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach managers and line leaders to embed SH&E values across all functions.
• Develop and track SH&E key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain audit‑ready compliance with internal policies and external regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT).
• Design and implement best‑in‑class SH&E programs, training, and risk‑assessment processes.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and ensure corrective actions are executed.
• Build SH&E talent through coaching, feedback, and capability development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering or SH&E‑related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7–10 years of SH&E experience, including recent experience as a site SH&E leader in a manufacturing environment.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, OHST, or NEBOSH are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS 45001, LEAN, TPM, and related regulatory frameworks.

Required skills

• ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001 standards.
• LEAN and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concepts.
• OSHA, EPA and DOT regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with Windows applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
