Maintenance Planner – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Maintenance Planner will maximize equipment reliability and plant performance by creating and managing effective maintenance plans. Working closely with Production, Technical Stores, and Maintenance teams, you will align maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize downtime and support operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the SAP maintenance system, including equipment setup, cost reporting, and preventive maintenance planning.
• Create, edit, and publish weekly maintenance schedules while coordinating equipment downtime with production.
• Incorporate predictive maintenance routines into planning and scheduling processes.
• Coordinate outside contractor support and monitor work‑order completion, backlog, and schedule compliance.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects in partnership with operations and engineering.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering environment, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical processes, equipment, and electrical systems.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset and detail‑oriented record‑keeping.

Required skills

• SAP maintenance system (AMM) proficiency.
• Experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP, Maximo, MP2, or MLS.
• Predictive maintenance planning and execution.
• Master data entry and FLOC creation within AMM.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical system maintenance.
