Safety Compliance Generalist (DOT)

About the role

The Safety Compliance Generalist supports the DOT Compliance Manager in ensuring all driver qualifications and safety administration tasks are met. This full‑time, onsite position works Monday through Friday, 8 am‑4:30 pm, and offers a starting wage of $20 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain driver qualification files and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Assist the Safety Department with incoming calls, inquiries, and general administrative tasks.
• Provide coverage for other safety functions as needed, filling gaps across the department.
• Support the preparation and submission of safety reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve safety‑related issues promptly.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
