Safety Administrative Coordinator

About the role

Alston Construction is seeking a Safety Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative, training, and reporting support to its Corporate Safety Department. The role ensures accurate safety records, coordinates training programs, and helps maintain compliance across a fast‑paced construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date employee safety training records, certifications, and related documentation.
• Enter, update, and audit training data within the company’s learning management or safety systems.
• Assist employees and managers with training access, completion, and technical issues.
• Schedule safety training sessions, meetings, orientations, and other safety‑related programs.
• Track required training and certifications, flagging expirations, incomplete training, or compliance gaps.
• Prepare training rosters, materials, reports, and other documentation as needed.
• Support communication of training requirements, deadlines, and progress to staff.

Required profile

• Highly organized and detail‑oriented with strong data‑management abilities.
• Comfortable working with technology and multiple priorities in a construction setting.
• Ability to collaborate with safety team members, HR, operations, and employees organization‑wide.
