Robot Pilot – Tier 2

About the role

Rhoda AI is seeking Tier 2 Robot Pilots to teleoperate robots using VR equipment. Pilots collect high‑quality manipulation data, support evaluation protocols, and help troubleshoot routine issues in a lab environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teleoperate robotic systems with VR controllers to repeatedly demonstrate manipulation tasks and generate training data.
• Maintain daily data‑collection throughput, quality, and complete metadata according to SOPs.
• Support structured evaluation protocols, report results, and log any hardware or software issues.
• Perform basic operational maintenance such as workspace resets, calibrations, and battery or component swaps.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency with VR or real‑time controller interfaces.
• Ability to focus for extended periods in VR and follow detailed written or video instructions.
• Comfort working hands‑on with robotics equipment, safety‑mindful and detail‑oriented.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and ability to work a fixed full‑time shift (AM or PM).
